It feels like there is not much going on with lockdown restrictions at the moment, we are all just getting on with life and waiting until things start to ease, wondering when that will be.
There is some talk of schools starting to open again, the first of things to have their restrictions to be eased. Whether that will be gradually or all at once, seems to vary across the four countries of the UK.
I guess, there is the fear that with any easing, we will return to another lockdown if Covid numbers increase.
What do you think, could you cope with having lockdown restrictions eased and then returning to a tighter lockdown restrictions later this year? I am getting tired of it all and just want to get back to some kind of ‘normality’.
For many months, the news has been dominated by Covid and the pandemic, where as now, it is just one news item! Does that suggest people are getting bored if it all – so its no longer news worthy or things are changing?
I did an internet search to see what was going on in the news in relation to Covid and found this article in The Guardian – entitled ’15 lockdown buys that helped Guardian Readers – https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2021/feb/19/my-soupmaker-is-so-quick-15-lockdown-buys-that-helped-guardian-readers

As I come to the end of this blog, it feels like we are kind of treading water waiting for the next Covid development. In the meantime I just wait until there is something interesting to write!
Any suggestions of new sections, which is Covid related, would be greatly received !! Perhaps – unusual things you have bought since lockdown started ?
Today it has been really windy, Discovery has been rocking around a lot. It’s rained quite a lot as well. However, it is super warm – hardly need the fire on at all 🙂
I broke the corner of the glass of my wood burner about 10 days ago and today the new glass arrived 🙂 – it’s amazing, I can now see the fire through the brand new glass, makes it so much easier to control!!
More of the same weather for the next few days.
Hope you’ve had a fantastic Friday!
