Wow – I’ve had so much energy today, its been great!!
This morning, I had my meditation group at 10am, but got up at 7am and went for a run and did some push-ups.
Was great being out so early, quiet and peaceful with a few runners and lots of cyclists.
During the meditation group, I felt a restlessness…an uneasiness inside me. I felt it yesterday too and concluded it was because I didn’t go for a run yesterday, I have been running every other day and yesterday was my day for a run.
But it was still there after my run. I think it is due to a number of things, needing to get out of the city…living in these strange times…wanting to go on holiday now rather than in 3 weeks times. But I think the main one, which I have been noticing more and more this week, is a feeling of waiting…waiting…waiting for what next.
Are we going to go back into full lockdown, local lockdown, no lockdown? When will life return to some kind of “normal” to what we knew pre-covid. Will that come or will we evolve into living in the “now normal” (Dungan, O, 2020)?
There is so much unrest in the country and world at the moment and I think it is probably because everyone is feeling like this. This feeling of waiting and boredom. As I described it yesterday – it’s a stagnant energy.
Being in lockdown was easier in a way. We knew what we needed to do – “Stay at Home”. Now we are in this transition and we don’t know what is going to happen next!
The meditation group was perfect, just what I needed.
Afterwards I finished off painting my spare bedroom.
But 2pm, it felt like I had done a full day. Honey started pestering me to go out, so we went for another long walk on Arthur’s Seat – twice in one day.
This morning, it was cloudy and coldish, but this afternoon the sun was out and it was super warm – t-shirts and shorts 🙂
There were so many people out and about too, it was great to see the park being used so much.
Near the end of the walk, there were some amazing cloud formations. I stood half way up the hill and just celebrated the energy, the connection, the beauty 🙂

Compilation Tape made by me for my friend Brian at the turn of the 20th Century.
As I come to the end of today’s blog, I am now feeling tired.
I was thinking that perhaps my new found energy in the morning and nighttime could be due to my Detox. The book says you should get this on Week 3, I am now 27 days into it, so a little later but perhaps the reason. I notice that I wake up early and just jump out of bed, its great !!!
The weather has been super warm today. I was thinking on our second time to Arthur’s Seat today. When the weather is warm/hot in March-May, we kind of take it for granted a bit more hoping that this will be how the whole of the summer will be like.
When it happens in September, we know that Autumn and then Winter, are just round the corner so we enjoy it so much more.
Hope you’ve had a lovely weekend.
Take Care!

I know what you mean about a looming feeling. It just feels like another lockdown is just around the corner, especially when you start to see it getting closer to home again.
