I bring a touch of magic to weddings, corporate events, birthdays, dinners, Christmas parties, and festivals throughout Scotland and beyond. My style primarily revolves around strolling magic, where I entertain small groups of people or perform at tables, creating an intimate and interactive atmosphere.
My work as a magician in Edinburgh encompasses performances for audiences of as few as two guests to over 200. I cater to families and adults alike, providing an unforgettable experience that elevates any occasion into something truly special.

Learn Magic with Jim
At Beyond Belief Magic, I also share my passion for magic by teaching beginners and intermediate students, both one-to-one and in small groups. My lessons cater to ages 7 years and upwards, ensuring everyone can experience the joy of learning magic. Each student receives a pack of Bicycle Cards to keep, along with access to password-protected Vimeo videos that enhance their learning journey.

My performances are well-known for making various items disappear and reappear in impossible locations, leaving audiences spellbound.
I am a proud member of The Magic Circle and serve on the committee of the Edinburgh Magic Circle. My experience includes performing for high-profile clients such as Standard Life Aberdeen, Baillie Gifford, the Royal Scots Club, and the National Museum of Scotland. I also perform regularly at the Pleasance Courtyard, during Edinburgh Fringe.
My passion lies in bringing joy and laughter into people's lives, and the closer the audience is, the more astonishing the magic becomes!
